In Austin, coffee shops cluster around downtown offices, college campuses and the main commercial streets of residential neighborhoods, and the independents usually close by mid-afternoon while chains stay open into the evening. Across Texas, drive-thru coffee stands and kiosks fill the gap in suburbs and along highways, and roasters often sell bags and brewing gear at the counter. Check the listing for hours, whether the cafe takes mobile orders, and its Google rating and recent reviews; parking is easiest at suburban locations, while downtown shops rely on street meters or nearby garages. Loyalty programs are common and worth joining if you are a regular.
Hours are published for 7 days a week. On most of those days it is open 7 am–3 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. Austin is in Texas, in the South, where summers are hot and humid, winters are short, and severe storms in spring are a fact of life; businesses run air conditioning most of the year and many open early to beat the heat. Getting around Austin is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Texas's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

I’m so glad I discovered this little coffee truck on my way to church! There’s plenty of parking and seating available! The menu offers all the traditional options plus their in house creations! The prices are fair and the staff is super friendly! I waited about 5 minutes for my drink so they’re pretty quick. Highly recommend!

Stopped by Odds Roots Coffee twice during a road trip between Austin and San Antonio, and now I totally get the hype. On the way to San Antonio, I ordered the Engine 53 and an Iced Black Bear Latte — both were absolutely delicious and the perfect road trip coffee stop. On the way back to Austin, I came back for the avocado toast with eggs and an Iced Wild Rose Latte, and WOW… the rose & cardamom combo was honestly one of the best flavor combinations I’ve ever had in a latte. So unique and perfectly balanced. The food and drinks were amazing, but the baristas made the experience even better. Everyone was super duper sweet, welcoming, and genuinely kind. Definitely adding this spot to my must-stop list anytime I’m driving through South Austin!

My partner & I LOVED this place—especially the matcha! The workers were incredibly sweet and even made a little “pup cup” for our dog, which was the cutest touch. The chocolate croissant was also delicious, and they warmed it up for us which made it even better. It’s located as a mobile shop next to a church, but don’t underestimate its size! There was plenty of parking, and the service was top tier. We actually went back on a Monday and realized they were closed, so just a heads up if you end up loving it as much as we did! Definitely a must-visit every time we’re in Austin!

Such a great little food truck for coffee or matcha. Their signature coconut matcha completely won me over, it’s really delicious. If you’re someone who prefers a very strong, intense matcha flavor, this one might feel a bit on the lighter side, but honestly it’s still incredibly enjoyable and well-balanced. I also tried the avocado toast and loved it. One detail that really stood out is that they use sourdough bread from Easy Tiger, which makes a big difference, the bread is high quality and gives the toast amazing flavor and texture. The whole place feels very cute and thoughtfully set up. It’s a bit of a hidden gem in the area and definitely worth stopping by if you’re nearby. The staff were very friendly, we were helped by a really lovely woman who made the experience even nicer. There are a couple of tables where you can sit. Overall, such a great impression.
